137. JBA — Pandit Jasraj — 29 min The Music of North India Series Pandit Jasraj is a singer in Bombay, who travels widely to sing in many parts of the country. He teaches his pupils in the traditional ways, copying, repeating and gradually progressing in complexity and refinement. He visits his spiritual guide and sponsor, the Thakur Saheb, a devotee of Kali, a Hindu Goddess who characterizes the female principle of divine creative energy.
